Recipe for "The Haselton" hamburger: (Not Kosher)
Ingredients:
- 1 pound 80/20 ground chuck beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pepper jack cheese slices
- Lettuce leaves
- Chipotle sauce
- Hamburger buns
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck beef, egg, diced onions, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and form them into burger patties.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
5. During the last couple of minutes of grilling, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each burger patty to melt.
6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly browned.
7. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese.
8. Drizzle chipotle sauce over the burger patties.
9. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.
